Hall Green Primary School

Science

At Hall Green our vision is to ignite pupils' inquisitiveness by giving them a science curriculum which enables them to explore, discover and see the world around them.

We aim to provide a science curriculum that nurtures children’s curiosity and drives them to dive deeper into their scientific understanding. Through a practical, enjoyable and engaging curriculum we aim to motivate and excite children, fostering a lifelong thirst for knowledge.

Through the teaching of science we aim to promote the development of transferrable skills, such as teamwork and communication, whilst also allowing mathematical skills to be applied. We believe that these opportunities will ensure that our children are confident, life-long learners who understand that the possibilities which lie ahead of them are endless.

Science at Home

Fortnightly a home learning challenge will be uploaded to the main page of the website as well as here on the science page. This challenge is for children and families to wish to continue their science learning outside the classroom. Children can bring in their work to celebrate with the class or upload to their seesaw account so that their teachers can see it.
