Frank Chapman 2021
Even though the weather hasn't been the greatest, Year 6 are having a wonderful time!
We have filled our bellies with plenty of food:
Cobs for lunch
Plenty of cereal and toast for breakfast
Evening meals have been pizza, nuggets or jacket potatoes last night and sausage/ veggie sausage with mash or jacket potato with cheese and beans.
Every meal had been served with a dessert.
You'll be glad to hear that your children can now make their beds, lay tables and tidy up after themselves; do not lift a finger when they return! I'm sure they could even put a wash on.
Everybody was exhausted when bedtime came last night, there were a few tears but by the time they'd realised what an opportunity this was -smiles returned! This morning there wasn't even a glimpse of a frown.
Today was our first day on full rotation of activities. Bushcraft, Mountain biking and High ropes. We aren't going to divulge too much but would love to share all pictures when we return!
Tonight we are wrapped up in waterproof gear and having mass games of hide-and-seek, sardines and anything else we could think of.
Hot chocolate is going to follow with a cheeky biscuit or two.
Lastly, I promise your children will not come back completely honking and they're showering at least once a day!
We will keep you updated when ever we can.
All is well, enjoy your peace and quiet!
Love from all of Year 6
