Hall Green Celebrates St Andrew's Day

On Thursday 30th November, as part of our British Values celebrations, children at Hall Green learned all about the story of St Andrew and why he is the Patron Saint of Scotland.

The whole school gathered in the hall to listen to the story of St Andrew and the Scottish National Anthem. Children also watched videos of the bagpipes, The Highfling Fling and the caber toss.

Throughout the afternoon, children took part in activities relating to Scotland and its heritage.
