What's on at Stone Cross Library?

Below is a list of activities and events that will be available for everyone to access at our local Stone Cross Library.
Please have a look and check the additional information on their flyer – there is something for everyone as well as help and advice for anyone in need of it.

Our local librarian, Tamar Rodney has sent the following list of opportunities available: We have lots planned for half-term as well as a performance of the pantomime Sleeping Beauty in November. We know many local people continue to be affected by the financial crisis and will be offering the following:

Warm drinks available all day.

Comfortable seating areas in the library for customers to use.

A range of basic activities available for all our customers including TV, board games and crosswords.

Every library will also have craft and reading groups for customers to join.

Free Wi-Fi and computers available to use.

Staff will also be on hand to assist customers to find the help and support they need by referring them to support agencies.

Resource books and web-sites available on budgeting and low cost cooking.

Play Talk And Read Story time sessions every Monday

Pop in and play activity available all day, every day for all families.

We will also offer after school activities and school holiday activities including Homework clubs and after school clubs with play activities for school age children.
