Educational websites that we use on a day-to-day basis:

Times Table Rockstars

All pupils in school have individualised access to a maths platform known as Times Tables Rockstars (TTR). This is a platform where children can have tailored times table practice for their individual needs. Also, on this platform, children can compete against other pupils, teachers and in nationwide competitions.

Pupils have access to Purple Mash. This website has lots of creative tools that can be used to support their learning in all topics. They may be set homework on here and can save their work to their own folder. Purple Mash will be used by the children during a lot of their Computing lessons at school. Seesaw

Seesaw is an online learning platform that children can utilise to be more creative within their learning. This is mostly used in schools to perform dramatisations, explain methods or create other means to showcase their learning. This platform also allows children to receive quicker feedback from their teacher and also have misconceptions addressed. Children have individualised access to this platform and will only be able to see their own work.

1. Students go to https://app.seesaw.me/#/login on a computer. Or install the Seesaw Class App on an iOS or Android device.
2. Students tap “I’m a Student”.
3. Students scan their code using Seesaw’s built-in QR code reader or type in their text code to access their Seesaw account.

Active Learn

All children have access to this online literacy platform which is often referred to as Bug Club. Children will have individualised access to the software and have been made aware of log-in credentials. This platform allows children to access interesting and suitable texts to match your child's reading ability. As well as having access to books online, your child will be able to answer questions simultaneously. Your child should be assigned books and reading comprehensions by an adult within their year group.
