Our Nursery children and their families enjoyed a truly special visit to Stone Cross Library, where we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful children's author and illustrator, Nick Sharratt. It was lovely to see so many families sharing the experience together as we listened to Nick bring his stories to life with warmth, humour and enthusiasm.

During the session, Nick showed us how to draw some of his famous characters and shared lots of creative tips to inspire our young artists. The children were excited to join in and loved seeing the characters appear before their eyes. To make the day even more memorable, Nick kindly drew a special picture for us to bring back to school, which we will treasure.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our children and families to come together, celebrate a love of books and stories, and enjoy an inspiring experience that we hope will encourage many more shared reading moments at home.
