30 things to do over the summer - challenge!

Our Online Safety Squad have been working hard this term to think about how we can help children stay safe, confident and creative when using technology. As part of their work, they would like to set a Summer Challenge for all pupils.

They have created a list of 30 fun activities that children can do over the summer holidays — all of them cheap or completely free. The activities are designed to encourage children to spend time with family, explore the outdoors, be creative and enjoy a healthy balance between online and offline life.

We are inviting every child to keep a scrapbook, diary or photo record of themselves completing the activities. This can be handwritten, digital, printed or a mixture — whatever works best for your family.

When pupils return to school in September, they can bring their scrapbook or evidence back to share with their class. Every child who completes all 30 activities will be entered into a prize draw.

The deadline for submitting scrapbooks, diaries or photo evidence is Friday 7th September.

We hope this challenge brings lots of joy, creativity and family time over the summer. Thank you for your continued support.
