MNDA Fun Run
MND (Motor Neurone Disease) is something that has affected many friends and families of some of our children at Hall Green. Over a month ago, one of our Year 3 Pupil's, Eva, decided to do something about it!
Eva wrote and sent a letter to Mrs Gilbert to request a meeting to discuss some fundraising ideas for the charity MNDA. Since that meeting, Eva, with the help of some of her friends, has designed posters advertising the event in school and stood up in assembly to make children aware.
Due to Eva’s hard work and persistence, today, Hall Green re-launched our daily mile with a very special ‘Fun Run’
Children were invited to take part in a ‘daily mile’ run around the fields in fancy dress or pyjamas for a donation of £1, with proceeds split equally between school funds and MNDA. It was an incredibly successful day! We will update you further as to the amount raised.
Thank you so much for your support and a special thanks to Eva!
